Comparison review
The Galaxy A40 is a bit better than Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 Pro, getting a general score of 79.6 against 75.8. Galaxy A40 is a newer cellphone, and it's also much lighter and just a little bit thinner than Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 Pro. These phones include Android OS (Operating System), but the Galaxy A40 has the previous 11 version and Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 Pro has Android 8.0 Oreo version.
The Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 Pro has a bit more powerful CPU than Galaxy A40, and although they both have 8 cpu cores, the Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 Pro also has a greater amount of RAM memory. The Galaxy A40 features a little sharper display than Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 Pro, because although it has a quite smaller display, it also counts with a bit more pixels per display inch and a slightly better 1080 x 2340px resolution.
