Galaxy Note5 has an overall score of 80.2, which is just a bit better than the Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 Pro's 75.8 global score. Galaxy Note5 is an much older cellphone than the Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 Pro, but Samsung managed to build it just a bit thinner and just a bit lighter anyway. The Samsung Galaxy Note5 has just a little better performance than Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 Pro, although it has 2 GB less RAM, they both have 8 processing cores.
Samsung Galaxy Note5 features a bit sharper display than Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 Pro, because although it has a little smaller display, it also counts with more pixels per inch in the display and a higher 1440 x 2560 resolution. The Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 Pro counts with a much better memory for games and applications than Galaxy Note5, and although they both have exactly the same internal memory capacity, the Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 Pro also has an external memory slot that admits a maximum of 128 GB.
The Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 Pro features improved battery life than Galaxy Note5, because it has a 33 percent more battery capacity. The Galaxy Note5 shoots much better photos and videos than Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 Pro, because it has a much better video definition, a back camera with a way better 16 MP resolution and a bigger aperture for better captures and videos in low-light environments.
