Comparison review
LG G8X ThinQ is better than the Xiaomi Redmi Note 5, getting a general score of 82.7 against 74.4. These devices work with Android operating system, but LG G8X ThinQ has the previous 10 version and Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 has Android 7.1 Nougat. Even though the LG G8X ThinQ is newer than the Xiaomi Redmi Note 5, it's a bit thicker and just a bit heavier.
LG G8X ThinQ has a bit more vivid screen than Xiaomi Redmi Note 5, because it has a little bit more pixels per inch of screen, a little bigger screen and a slightly higher 1080 x 2340 resolution. LG G8X ThinQ features a bit better processing unit than Xiaomi Redmi Note 5, and although they both have a Octa-Core processing unit, the LG G8X ThinQ also has a larger amount of RAM.
The LG G8X ThinQ captures much better videos and photos than Xiaomi Redmi Note 5, and although they both have a 12 MP camera in the back, the LG G8X ThinQ also has a lot better 3840x2160 video definition and a bigger diafragm aperture for better photos in low-light situations. LG G8X ThinQ counts with a superior storage for apps and games than Xiaomi Redmi Note 5, because it has an external memory card slot that admits up to 1,95 TB and 64 GB more internal memory capacity.
LG G8X ThinQ has a battery duration that's very similar to the battery life in Xiaomi Redmi Note 5.
