Motorola Edge 40 Neo is slightly better than the Xiaomi Redmi Note 5, having a general score of 77 against 74.4. The Motorola Edge 40 Neo design is way newer, a little bit thinner and just a little bit lighter than Xiaomi Redmi Note 5. Both phones in this review work with Android OS (operating system), but Motorola Edge 40 Neo has older 13 version and Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 has Android 7.1 Nougat.
The Motorola Edge 40 Neo has a brighter display than Xiaomi Redmi Note 5, because it has a little bigger display, a slightly higher 1080 x 2400 resolution and a quite higher quantity of pixels per inch of screen. The Motorola Edge 40 Neo counts with slightly more storage capacity for applications and games than Xiaomi Redmi Note 5, because although it has no external memory slot, it also counts with more internal memory capacity.
Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 has a very superior processing unit than Motorola Edge 40 Neo, although it has a lower amount of RAM memory, they both have 8 CPU cores. Motorola Edge 40 Neo has a much better camera than Xiaomi Redmi Note 5, because it has a larger diafragm aperture, a back facing camera with way more mega pixels and a way higher video definition.
