Comparison review
The Samsung Galaxy M12 is slightly better than Xiaomi Redmi Note 5, with a overall score of 80 against 74.4. Samsung Galaxy M12's design is notably newer, but heavier and somewhat thicker than Xiaomi Redmi Note 5. These phones have Android OS (operating system), but the Samsung Galaxy M12 has 10 version while Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 has Android 7.1 Nougat.
The Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 has a much better display than Galaxy M12, because although it has a bit smaller display, it also counts with a higher amount of pixels per inch of screen and a much better 1080 x 2160px resolution. The Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 and the Galaxy M12 both feature extremely similar processing units, they have the same RAM amount and a Octa-Core CPU.

The Galaxy M12 has a much bigger memory capacity to store more apps and games than Xiaomi Redmi Note 5, and although they both have the same 64 GB internal storage, the Galaxy M12 also has a SD extension slot that holds up to 1 TB. Galaxy M12 counts with a very superior battery performance than Xiaomi Redmi Note 5, because it has a 50% greater battery size.
