Comparison review
The Samsung Galaxy S6 is much better than the Xiaomi Redmi Note 5, getting a overall score of 87.4 against 74.4. The Samsung Galaxy S6 is an way older phone than the Xiaomi Redmi Note 5, but Samsung was able to build it noticeably lighter and thinner anyway. These phones use Android OS (operating system), but the Samsung Galaxy S6 has older 5.0 version and Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 has Android 7.1 Nougat version.
The Galaxy S6 features a superior performance than Xiaomi Redmi Note 5, because although it has a lower amount of RAM, and they both have a Octa-Core processor, the Galaxy S6 also counts with a GPU and a 64-bit processor. The Galaxy S6 counts with a way better looking screen than Xiaomi Redmi Note 5, because although it has a little smaller display, it also counts with a better resolution of 2560 x 1440px and a greater pixel density.
Samsung Galaxy S6 captures much clearer pictures and videos than Xiaomi Redmi Note 5, because it has a way better 3840x2160 (4K) video resolution, a larger diafragm aperture to take better low-light images and video and a back-facing camera with lot more mega-pixels. The Galaxy S6 features a bit bigger storage to install applications and games or saving photos and videos than Xiaomi Redmi Note 5, because although it has no external SD slot, it also counts with 128 GB internal memory capacity.
Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 counts with a very superior battery lifetime than Samsung Galaxy S6, because it has a 4000mAh battery size against 2550mAh.
