Comparison review
The Xperia Z4v is just a bit better than Xiaomi Redmi Note 5, getting a 78.8 score against 74.4. Both of these phones use Android operating system, but the Xperia Z4v has the previous 5.1 version and Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 has Android 7.1 Nougat. Although the Xperia Z4v is incredibly older and just a bit thicker than Xiaomi Redmi Note 5, it's construction is still lighter.
Xperia Z4v has a lot better screen than Xiaomi Redmi Note 5, because although it has a little bit smaller screen, it also counts with a better screen pixels density and a better 2560 x 1440 resolution. The Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 features much more storage to install applications and games than Sony Xperia Z4v, and although they both have a SD memory slot that supports up to 128 GB, the Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 also has more internal storage capacity.
The Xperia Z4v has just a little better hardware performance than Xiaomi Redmi Note 5, because although it has a smaller amount of RAM, and they both have a Octa-Core CPU, the Xperia Z4v also counts with a GPU. The Xperia Z4v shoots much clearer pictures and videos than Xiaomi Redmi Note 5, because it has a larger aperture, a lot better 3840x2160 (4K) video resolution and a back-facing camera with a way better 20.7 mega-pixels resolution.
The Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 has greater battery life than Xperia Z4v, because it has 4000mAh of battery capacity against 3000mAh.
