Xiaomi 14 is slightly better than Xiaomi Redmi Note 5, getting a score of 79.4 against 74.4. These devices include Android OS, but the Xiaomi 14 has older 14 version and Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 has Android 7.1 Nougat. The Xiaomi 14 design has the same thickness than Xiaomi Redmi Note 5, but it is just a little heavier.
The Xiaomi 14 features a much more vibrant display than Xiaomi Redmi Note 5, because it has a just a little greater pixel density, a little bit larger screen and a bit higher 1200 x 2670 resolution. Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 features a very superior processor than Xiaomi 14, although it has a smaller amount of RAM, they both have a Octa-Core CPU.
The Xiaomi 14 captures a lot better pictures and videos than Xiaomi Redmi Note 5, because it has a camera in the back with a much better 50 MP resolution, a way higher video quality and a way larger aperture to take better low light photography and videos. The Xiaomi 14 has a superior storage to install applications and games than Xiaomi Redmi Note 5, because although it has no SD memory card expansion slot, it also counts with 256 GB internal storage capacity.
The Xiaomi 14 has a bit longer battery performance than Xiaomi Redmi Note 5, because it has a 15% greater battery capacity.
