The Xiaomi Mi Max 2 has an overall score of 77.5, which is just a bit better than Xiaomi Redmi Note 5's 74.4 general score. Although the Xiaomi Mi Max 2 and Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 were released only a couple months apart, Xiaomi Mi Max 2's construction is just a little thinner but also heavier. Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 features a little sharper display than Xiaomi Mi Max 2, because although it has a little bit smaller screen, it also counts with a slightly higher 1080 x 2160 resolution and a little bit better pixel number in each screen inch.
The Xiaomi Mi Max 2 features a processor that's just as good as the CPU in Xiaomi Redmi Note 5, both of them have the same number of cores and the same RAM memory amount. The Xiaomi Mi Max 2 counts with much more memory to store more apps and games than Xiaomi Redmi Note 5, and although they both have an external memory card slot that allows up to 128 GB, the Xiaomi Mi Max 2 also has 64 GB more internal storage capacity.
The Xiaomi Mi Max 2 features greater battery life than Xiaomi Redmi Note 5, because it has 5300mAh of battery capacity. Xiaomi Mi Max 2 has a bit better camera than Xiaomi Redmi Note 5, and although they both have a F2.2 aperture and the same resolution back facing camera, the Xiaomi Mi Max 2 also has a lot better 3840x2160 video resolution.
