Comparison review
Xiaomi Redmi Note 6 Pro is a bit better than the Xiaomi Redmi Note 5, getting a score of 77.2 against 74.4. Xiaomi Redmi Note 6 Pro's body is newer, but a little thicker and a little heavier than Xiaomi Redmi Note 5. These phones come with Android operating system, but the Xiaomi Redmi Note 6 Pro has 8.1 Oreo version while Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 has Android 7.1 Nougat, giving you some extra features and improved performance.
The Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 has a bit superior CPU than Xiaomi Redmi Note 6 Pro, although it has lesser RAM, they both have the same number of cores. Xiaomi Redmi Note 6 Pro features a bit more vivid screen than Xiaomi Redmi Note 5, because although it has a bit lower pixels density, it also counts with a bit bigger screen and a quite better resolution of 1080 x 2280 pixels.

The Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 and the Xiaomi Redmi Note 6 Pro both have very similar battery performance.
