Comparison review
The Xiaomi Redmi Note 7 has a score of 80.3, which is just a bit better than Asus ROG Phone 8's overall score of 79.5. Despite of the fact that Xiaomi Redmi Note 7 is way older than Asus ROG Phone 8, it's design is lighter and a little thinner. The Asus ROG Phone 8 counts with a sharper screen than Xiaomi Redmi Note 7, because although it has a little lower number of pixels per inch in the display, it also counts with a bit larger display and a slightly higher 1080 x 2400 pixels resolution.
The Xiaomi Redmi Note 7 counts with a way better hardware performance than Asus ROG Phone 8, although it has 8 GB less RAM, they both have the same number of cores. Asus ROG Phone 8 has just a bit better camera than Xiaomi Redmi Note 7, because although it has a smaller aperture which is worse for taking pictures and videos in low-light environments, it also counts with a way larger back-facing camera sensor providing a much higher image quality, a more megapixels back facing camera and a much higher video definition.
The Asus ROG Phone 8 has a slightly better memory capacity for games and applications than Xiaomi Redmi Note 7, because although it has no external SD slot, it also counts with more internal storage. The Asus ROG Phone 8 counts with a very superior battery duration than Xiaomi Redmi Note 7, because it has 5500mAh of battery capacity.
