Comparison review
The Xiaomi Redmi Note 7 has an overall score of 80.3, which is just a bit better than the Galaxy A8 (2018)'s 79.2 overall score. Although Xiaomi Redmi Note 7 is just a little heavier than the Galaxy A8 (2018), it's a bit thinner and also newer. Samsung Galaxy A8 (2018) features a bit better screen than Xiaomi Redmi Note 7, because although it has a quite smaller display and a quite lower resolution of 1080 x 2220px, it also counts with a just a bit better pixels amount in each display inch.
The Xiaomi Redmi Note 7 counts with a lot bigger memory for apps and games than Galaxy A8 (2018), and although they both have an external memory slot that supports a maximum of 256 GB, the Xiaomi Redmi Note 7 also has 64 GB more internal memory capacity. Samsung Galaxy A8 (2018) has a processing unit that's just as good as the processor in Xiaomi Redmi Note 7, both of them have a 4 GB RAM memory and a Octa-Core processor.
Xiaomi Redmi Note 7 shoots much clearer videos and photos than Samsung Galaxy A8 (2018), because although it has a smaller camera aperture which is not recommended for shooting pictures or video in low-light environments, and they both have the same video quality, the Xiaomi Redmi Note 7 also counts with faster 120 frames per second video frame rate and a back camera with a much higher resolution.
