Comparison review
The Asus ZenFone AR is slightly better than Xiaomi Redmi Note 8, getting a general score of 77.4 against 74.6. Despite of the fact the Asus ZenFone AR is notably older and a little thicker than the Xiaomi Redmi Note 8, it's construction is still lighter. The Xiaomi Redmi Note 8 has a bit superior CPU than Asus ZenFone AR, because although it has a smaller amount of RAM, it also counts with more processing cores (although slower).
Asus ZenFone AR features a little bit better screen than Xiaomi Redmi Note 8, because although it has a quite smaller display, it also counts with a better pixels number per inch in the display and a better 1440 x 2560px resolution. The Asus ZenFone AR has a much bigger memory to store more apps and games than Xiaomi Redmi Note 8, because it has more internal memory capacity and a slot for external memory cards that allows up to 1,95 TB.
Xiaomi Redmi Note 8 counts with superior battery duration than Asus ZenFone AR, because it has 4000mAh of battery capacity instead of 3300mAh. Xiaomi Redmi Note 8 takes much clearer photographs and videos than Asus ZenFone AR, and although they both have the same 3840x2160 (4K) video quality, the Xiaomi Redmi Note 8 also has a much larger sensor taking more light and vivid colors, better video frame rate, a back-facing camera with a lot higher resolution and a larger aperture.
