Comparison review
Google Nexus 6P has an overall score of 80.3, which is a bit better than the Xiaomi Redmi Note 8's overall score of 74.6. The Google Nexus 6P is an incredibly older phone than Xiaomi Redmi Note 8, but it's a little lighter and somewhat thinner anyway. The Google Nexus 6P and Xiaomi Redmi Note 8 both feature very similar processing units, both of them have 8 cores and 3 GB of RAM.
Google Nexus 6P counts with a bit better display than Xiaomi Redmi Note 8, because although it has a quite smaller display, it also counts with a better 1440 x 2560 resolution and a greater screen density. The Xiaomi Redmi Note 8 features a much better camera than Google Nexus 6P, and although they both have the same video frame rate and the same 3840x2160 (4K) video quality, the Xiaomi Redmi Note 8 also has a back camera with a way better 48 mega-pixels resolution, a larger aperture for better images and video in low light situations and a bigger sensor which gives a better image and video quality.
The Google Nexus 6P features a way bigger memory capacity to install games and applications than Xiaomi Redmi Note 8, because although it has no SD card slot, it also counts with 96 GB more internal storage. Xiaomi Redmi Note 8 features just a bit longer battery lifetime than Google Nexus 6P, because it has a 16 percent bigger battery capacity.
Although Google Nexus 6P is a better device, it is way more expensive than the Xiaomi Redmi Note 8, and it doesn't have such a good relation between it's price and quality as Xiaomi Redmi Note 8. So if you want that extra features and specs, you can buy the Google Nexus 6P, else you can save a couple dollars and get the Xiaomi Redmi Note 8, letting go a couple specifications.
