The Google Pixel 2 has an overall score of 81.6, which is just a bit better than the Xiaomi Redmi Note 8's 74.6 general score. Google Pixel 2 is an older phone than the Xiaomi Redmi Note 8, but Google was able to make it just a little thinner and noticeably lighter anyway. The Google Pixel 2 has a bit more powerful CPU than Xiaomi Redmi Note 8, and although they both have the same number of cores, the Google Pixel 2 also has a greater amount of RAM memory.

Xiaomi Redmi Note 8 has a superior camera than Google Pixel 2, and although they both have the same (4K) video resolution, a same size diafragm aperture and the same video frame rates, the Xiaomi Redmi Note 8 also has a back camera with a much higher resolution and a way larger sensor taking more light and vivid colors.
The Xiaomi Redmi Note 8 has a very superior battery duration than Google Pixel 2, because it has a 4000mAh battery size against 2700mAh.
Even being the best phone of the ones in this comparison, the Google Pixel 2 is also by far the cheapest one, making it an obvious call.
