Comparison review
Huawei P20 has an overall score of 78.1, which is a bit better than the Xiaomi Redmi Note 8's 74.6 score. Both of these phones use Android OS, but Huawei P20 has a more recent 9.0 Pie version while Xiaomi Redmi Note 8 has Android 10 version. Although the Huawei P20 is older than the Xiaomi Redmi Note 8, it's construction is a bit thinner and lighter.
The Huawei P20 has a bit more powerful CPU than Xiaomi Redmi Note 8, and although they both have the same number of cores, the Huawei P20 also has a higher amount of RAM. The Huawei P20 counts with just a bit better looking screen than Xiaomi Redmi Note 8, because although it has a bit lower 1080 x 2244 pixels resolution and a quite smaller display, it also counts with a quite better pixels density.
The Huawei P20 has a much greater memory to store more games and applications than Xiaomi Redmi Note 8, because although it has no external SD slot, it also counts with 128 GB internal memory. Xiaomi Redmi Note 8 counts with longer battery lifetime than Huawei P20, because it has an 18% bigger battery size.
Xiaomi Redmi Note 8 counts with a superior camera than Huawei P20, and although they both have the same 3840x2160 video definition, a F1.8 camera aperture and the same video frame rates, the Xiaomi Redmi Note 8 also has a bigger camera sensor shooting higher quality videos and photos and a camera in the back with lot more MP.
Huawei P20 costs more money than Xiaomi Redmi Note 8, but it's still a good choice, as you can get a lot more for that extra money.
