Comparison review
The OnePlus 8 is a little bit better than the Xiaomi Redmi Note 8, having a general score of 76 against 74.6. Even though OnePlus 8 and Xiaomi Redmi Note 8 were released only 6 months apart, OnePlus 8 is a little lighter and just a little thinner. The OnePlus 8 features a bit better performance than Xiaomi Redmi Note 8, and although they both have a Octa-Core processor, the OnePlus 8 also has a larger amount of RAM memory.
The OnePlus 8 features a sharper screen than Xiaomi Redmi Note 8, because although it has a little bit lower pixels density, it also counts with a little bit bigger display and a slightly better 1080 x 2400 pixels resolution. The OnePlus 8 features a slightly better camera than Xiaomi Redmi Note 8, and although they both have a back facing camera with a 48 mega pixels, the same video quality, a F1.8 aperture and a 0.5 inches sensor, the OnePlus 8 also has better video frame rates.
The OnePlus 8 features a much greater storage capacity for games and applications than Xiaomi Redmi Note 8, because although it has no slot for SD memory cards, it also counts with more internal memory capacity. OnePlus 8 counts with a bit better battery lifetime than Xiaomi Redmi Note 8, because it has an 8 percent larger battery capacity.
Although OnePlus 8 is a better device, it costs a lot more money than the Xiaomi Redmi Note 8, and it doesn't have such a good price and quality relation as the Xiaomi Redmi Note 8. So if you want that extra features and specs, you can buy OnePlus 8, but if you don't you can save a couple dollars and get the Xiaomi Redmi Note 8, letting go some features and specifications.
