Comparison review
Galaxy A12 is a bit better than the Xiaomi Redmi Note 8, having an 80.3 score against 74.6. Both of these phones use the same Android 10 OS, so both should provide the same OS features. Even though the Galaxy A12 is newer than Xiaomi Redmi Note 8, it is a bit thicker and a little bit heavier. The Xiaomi Redmi Note 8 has a more vivid screen than Samsung Galaxy A12, because although it has a bit smaller display, it also counts with a much greater pixel number per screen inch and a much better 1080 x 2340 resolution.
Galaxy A12 features a much better storage capacity for applications, games, photos and videos than Xiaomi Redmi Note 8, because it has an external SD slot that allows up to 1 TB and more internal storage. Galaxy A12 counts with a little bit better hardware performance than Xiaomi Redmi Note 8, and although they both have the same number of cores, the Galaxy A12 also has a greater amount of RAM memory.
The Galaxy A12 features longer battery duration than Xiaomi Redmi Note 8, because it has 5000mAh of battery capacity. Xiaomi Redmi Note 8 shoots much better pictures and videos than Samsung Galaxy A12, and although they both have the same resolution camera in the back, the Xiaomi Redmi Note 8 also has a larger camera aperture to take better captures and videos in poorly lited environments and a way higher 3840x2160 video definition.
