Comparison review
The Samsung Galaxy M31 has an overall score of 86.5, which is better than Xiaomi Redmi Note 8's score of 74.6. These devices come with Android operating system, but Samsung Galaxy M31 has 11 version while Xiaomi Redmi Note 8 has Android 10, offering lots of additional features and better performance. Although Samsung Galaxy M31 is better than Xiaomi Redmi Note 8, we must note that it is also a just a little heavier and just a little bit thicker cellphone.
The Samsung Galaxy M31 has just a bit better looking display than Xiaomi Redmi Note 8, because although it has a just a bit worse display density, and they both have an equal resolution of 1080 x 2340px, the Samsung Galaxy M31 also counts with a little bigger display. The Galaxy M31 has a very superior storage capacity to install games and applications than Xiaomi Redmi Note 8, because it has more internal memory capacity and an external memory card slot that holds up to 512 GB.
Galaxy M31 has a little faster processing unit than Xiaomi Redmi Note 8, and although they both have 8 processing cores, the Galaxy M31 also has more RAM memory. The Samsung Galaxy M31 captures a bit better photographs and videos than Xiaomi Redmi Note 8, and although they both have the same 3840x2160 (4K) video definition, the same 30 fps video frame rate and a same size camera aperture, the Samsung Galaxy M31 also has a back facing camera with a much better 64 megapixels resolution and a bigger sensor providing a better image quality.
The Galaxy M31 counts with a really longer battery duration than Xiaomi Redmi Note 8, because it has 6000mAh of battery capacity instead of 4000mAh.
