The Galaxy Note9 has a global score of 87.1, which is better than Xiaomi Redmi Note 8's general score of 74.6. Galaxy Note9 is an older, just a little bit thicker and just a little heavier phone than Xiaomi Redmi Note 8. The Samsung Galaxy Note9 features a bit superior processing unit than Xiaomi Redmi Note 8, and although they both have 8 cores, the Samsung Galaxy Note9 also has 3 GB more RAM.
The Samsung Galaxy Note9 counts with just a bit better display than Xiaomi Redmi Note 8, because it has a little bit larger screen, a better pixels density and a better 1440 x 2960 pixels resolution. Xiaomi Redmi Note 8 captures much better photos and videos than Galaxy Note9, because although it has lower video frame rate and a smaller diafragm aperture, and they both have the same video quality, the Xiaomi Redmi Note 8 also counts with a way more megapixels back facing camera and a lot bigger sensor.
Galaxy Note9 features a much bigger storage for applications and games than Xiaomi Redmi Note 8, because it has a slot for an external memory card that holds up to 512 GB and 96 GB more internal memory. The Galaxy Note9's battery performance is just as good as the Xiaomi Redmi Note 8 one.
The Galaxy Note9 costs a lot more than the Xiaomi Redmi Note 8, but you can get a better phone for that few more dollars.
