Comparison review
Google Pixel 4a is slightly better than the Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 Pro, getting a general score of 82.9 against 81.1. The Google Pixel 4a is a notably lighter and a little bit thinner phone than the Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 Pro, although both were only released 4 months apart. Both phones in this comparison review come with Android OS, but Google Pixel 4a has a more recent 11 version and Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 Pro has Android 10 version, providing the user a lot of extra features and a performance increase.
The Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 Pro counts with a bit faster CPU than Google Pixel 4a. Both have the same RAM memory amount and 8 cores. The Google Pixel 4a features a little more vivid display than Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 Pro, because although it has a little bit lower 1080 x 2340 pixels resolution and a quite smaller display, it also counts with a quite higher number of pixels per inch of screen.
The Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 Pro has a greater storage for games and applications than Google Pixel 4a, because although it has less internal storage, it also counts with a slot for SD memory cards that supports a maximum of 512 GB. Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 Pro has a very superior battery life than Google Pixel 4a, because it has a 60 percent more battery capacity.
Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 Pro counts with a greater camera than Google Pixel 4a, because although it has a tinier camera aperture which is not favorable for low light captures and videos, and they both have the same 30 frames per second video frame rate and the same 3840x2160 video quality, the Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 Pro also counts with a way more MP back camera and a much larger back-facing camera sensor which gives a much better photo and video quality.
Although Google Pixel 4a is a better device, it costs more money than the Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 Pro, and it doesn't have such a good quality/price relation as the Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 Pro. If you want to save a few dollars, you can buy the Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 Pro, letting go a few features and specifications, but you will get the most with your money.
