Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 Pro is a bit better than the Huawei Mate 10, with a general score of 81.1 against 78.9. Both of these phones work with the same Android 10 operating system, so both of them should provide the user very similar operating system features. Even though the Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 Pro is notably newer than Huawei Mate 10, it is just a little bit thicker and heavier.
The Huawei Mate 10 counts with a much better looking screen than Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 Pro, because although it has a quite smaller screen, it also counts with a higher resolution of 1440 x 2560px and a higher pixels density. Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 Pro features just a bit better performance than Huawei Mate 10, and although they both have the same number of cores, the Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 Pro also has more RAM memory.
Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 Pro counts with a little bit more storage capacity for apps and games than Huawei Mate 10, and although they both have exactly the same 64 GB internal storage capacity, the Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 Pro also has a SD card slot that supports up to 512 GB. Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 Pro features better battery duration than Huawei Mate 10, because it has a 26% bigger battery capacity.
Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 Pro features a way better camera than Huawei Mate 10, because although it has a tinier diafragm aperture which is worse for shooting images or videos in poorly lited environments, and they both have the same video quality and the same 30 frames per second video frame rates, the Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 Pro also counts with a much more mega-pixels camera in the back and a much bigger camera sensor shooting way better quality videos and photographs.
Although Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 Pro is a better device, it is more expensive than the Huawei Mate 10, and it doesn't have such a good quality/price relation as the Huawei Mate 10. So if you need that extra features, you can buy the Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 Pro, else you can save some money and get the Huawei Mate 10, giving up some features and specs.
