Comparison review
The Motorola edge is much better than Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 Pro, getting an 89.6 score against 81.1. Even though Motorola edge and the Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 Pro were released only a few months apart, the Motorola edge design is a bit thicker but lighter. These devices use the same Android 10 OS, so you shouldn't see any difference regarding that.
The Motorola edge's processing unit is just as good as the Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 Pro one, both of them have a Octa-Core processor and 6 GB of RAM memory. The Motorola edge and Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 Pro both count with very similar screens, and although the Motorola edge has a just a little worse screen density and a little bit worse resolution of 1080 x 2340, they both have a same size screen.
Motorola edge's camera is just as good as the camera in Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 Pro, and although the Motorola edge has a larger camera aperture to capture better photography and videos in low light situations, they both have the same 30 fps video frame rate, the same back camera sensor size, the same 3840x2160 (4K) video quality and the same resolution camera.
The Motorola edge features a superior memory capacity to store more apps and games than Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 Pro, because it has 192 GB more internal memory capacity and an external memory card slot that allows up to 1000 GB. The Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 Pro has just a little better battery performance than Motorola edge, because it has a 12% more battery capacity.
Although Motorola edge is a better device, it is a lot more expensive than Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 Pro, and it doesn't have such a good price and quality relation as Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 Pro. If you want to save a few dollars, you can get the Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 Pro, giving up a few features and specifications, but you will get the most with your budget.
