Galaxy S20 has a score of 94.8, which is better than Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 Pro's 81.1 overall score. Galaxy S20's construction is notably lighter and somewhat thinner than Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 Pro, although they were only released 2 months apart. Both of these phones use Android operating system, but Galaxy S20 has the newer 13 version and Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 Pro has Android 10 version, so it gives you a couple nice extra features.
The Samsung Galaxy S20 counts with a more vivid screen than Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 Pro, because although it has a little bit smaller screen, it also counts with a better 1440 x 3200 resolution and a greater number of pixels per inch in the display. The Galaxy S20 features a bit faster processing unit than Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 Pro, and although they both have 8 CPU cores, the Galaxy S20 also has more RAM memory.
The Galaxy S20 has a way bigger memory for applications, games, photos and videos than Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 Pro, because it has an external memory slot that holds a maximum of 1000 GB and 128 GB internal memory. Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 Pro captures better pictures and videos than Samsung Galaxy S20, because although it has a tinier diafragm aperture, and they both have a same size sensor and the same video definition, the Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 Pro also counts with higher 30 frames per second video frame rates and a back-facing camera with a way higher resolution.
Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 Pro features better battery life than Samsung Galaxy S20, because it has a 5020mAh battery capacity.
Although Samsung Galaxy S20 is a better device, it costs a lot more money than Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 Pro, and it doesn't have such a good price and quality relation as the Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 Pro. If you are trying to save some dollars, you can get Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 Pro, letting go a few features and specs, but you'll get the most out of your savings.
