Comparison review
Galaxy Z Fold 2 has a general score of 94.6, which is much better than the Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 Pro's overall score of 81.1. Both of these phones have Android OS (operating system), but Galaxy Z Fold 2 has newer 11 version while Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 Pro has Android 10 version, giving you some nice extra features and some performance improvements. Although the Galaxy Z Fold 2 and the Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 Pro were released with only 5 months difference, the Galaxy Z Fold 2 construction is incredibly heavier but incredibly thinner than the Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 Pro.
Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 2 counts with a little sharper screen than Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 Pro, because although it has a little bit less pixels per inch of screen, it also counts with a higher resolution of 1768 x 2208 and a quite bigger screen. Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 2 features a quite bigger storage to install applications and games than Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 Pro, because although it has no slot for an SD memory card, it also counts with 192 GB more internal storage.
Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 2 features a bit faster processor than Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 Pro, and although they both have 8 cores, the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 2 also has a higher amount of RAM memory. Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 Pro shoots much clearer videos and photos than Galaxy Z Fold 2, because although it has slower 30 frames per second video frame rates and a tinier aperture which is not nice for capturing photographs and/or video in low light environments, and they both have the same 3840x2160 video quality, the Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 Pro also counts with a back-facing camera with much more megapixels and a larger sensor which offers a higher photo and video quality.
The Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 Pro has just a little better battery duration than Galaxy Z Fold 2, because it has a 12% greater battery capacity.
Although Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 2 is a better device, it is way more expensive than the Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 Pro, and it doesn't have such a good quality/price relation as Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 Pro. If you prefer to save some dollars, you can buy Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 Pro, giving up a few features and specs, but you will get the most with your savings.
