Comparison review
The Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 Pro is a little bit better than Xiaomi Mi 5s Plus, with an 81.1 score against 78.1. Both devices in our current comparison come with Android OS (Operating System), but the Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 Pro has the previous 10 version while Xiaomi Mi 5s Plus has Android 6.0 Marshmallow. Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 Pro is a newer cellphone than the Xiaomi Mi 5s Plus, but it is somewhat heavier and thicker.
Xiaomi Mi 5s Plus has a bit more vivid display than Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 Pro, although it has a little bit smaller screen, a bit lower 1080 x 1920 pixels resolution and a just a bit inferior number of pixels per screen inch. Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 Pro features a bit better processor than Xiaomi Mi 5s Plus, and although they both have a 6 GB RAM, the Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 Pro also has a higher number of cores (although they are slower).
Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 Pro features a very superior camera than Xiaomi Mi 5s Plus, and although they both have the same video frame rates and the same video definition, the Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 Pro also has a larger diafragm aperture to take better photography and video in poorly lited situations, a way more MP back-facing camera and a way bigger camera sensor.
The Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 Pro counts with a bigger memory capacity for apps and games than Xiaomi Mi 5s Plus, because although it has less internal storage, it also counts with an external SD slot that admits up to 512 GB. The Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 Pro has improved battery duration than Xiaomi Mi 5s Plus, because it has a 32 percent larger battery capacity.
