Huawei Mate 10 has a global score of 78.9, which is a little bit better than the Xiaomi Redmi Note 9's global score of 76.6. The Huawei Mate 10 design is just a bit thinner and just a little lighter than the Xiaomi Redmi Note 9, although it was released many years before. Both devices in this review include the same Android 10 OS, so you shouldn't perceive any differences regarding that.
Huawei Mate 10 features a little better performance than Xiaomi Redmi Note 9, and although they both have a Octa-Core processing unit, the Huawei Mate 10 also has a greater amount of RAM memory. The Huawei Mate 10 has a brighter display than Xiaomi Redmi Note 9, because although it has a bit smaller screen, it also counts with a higher resolution of 1440 x 2560px and a greater amount of pixels per display inch.
The Huawei Mate 10 has a bit more storage capacity to install games and applications than Xiaomi Redmi Note 9, and although they both have the same internal memory, the Huawei Mate 10 also has an external memory slot that supports a maximum of 256 GB. Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 captures better pictures and videos than Huawei Mate 10, because although it has a smaller diafragm aperture which is worse for taking pictures and video in low-light situations, and they both have the same 1920x1080 (Full HD) video quality and the same video frame rates, the Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 also counts with a much larger sensor taking lot better quality videos and photos and a way higher resolution back facing camera.
The Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 has better battery life than Huawei Mate 10, because it has 5020mAh of battery capacity against 4000mAh.
Despite of being the best phone in our comparison, Huawei Mate 10 is also a bargain compared to others, which makes it very easy to pick between these devices.
