Comparison review
The Huawei Mate 40 Pro is better than the Xiaomi Redmi Note 9, with a score of 90.9 against 76.6. Both of these devices come with the same Android 10 OS (operating system), so you shouldn't see any difference regarding OS features. The Huawei Mate 40 Pro is an a little bit heavier and just a little thicker phone than Xiaomi Redmi Note 9.
The Huawei Mate 40 Pro has just a bit better processing power than Xiaomi Redmi Note 9, and although they both have a Octa-Core processor, the Huawei Mate 40 Pro also has more RAM memory. The Huawei Mate 40 Pro has a little sharper screen than Xiaomi Redmi Note 9, because it has a quite larger display, a just a bit greater pixel amount in each inch in the display and a higher 1334 x 2772 resolution.
Huawei Mate 40 Pro captures much better photos and videos than Xiaomi Redmi Note 9, because although it has a tinier camera aperture which is worse for taking pictures and/or video in low light situations, it also counts with a more mega pixels camera in the back, a much higher 3840x2160 video resolution and a lot larger sensor which provides a much better photo and video quality.
The Huawei Mate 40 Pro counts with a superior memory for games and applications than Xiaomi Redmi Note 9, because although it has no SD memory slot, it also counts with more internal memory capacity. Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 features just a bit longer battery lifetime than Huawei Mate 40 Pro, because it has a 14% more battery size.
