Comparison review
The Huawei Mate X is much better than the Xiaomi Redmi Note 9, with an 89.4 score against 76.6. Although the Huawei Mate X is better than the Xiaomi Redmi Note 9, it must be noted that it's also a somewhat thicker and extremely heavier cellphone. These phones have Android OS (Operating System), but the Huawei Mate X has the newer 9.0 Pie version and Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 has Android 10 version, so it gives you lots of additional features.
Huawei Mate X features a slightly better looking display than Xiaomi Redmi Note 9, because it has a little more pixels per inch of display, a lot better resolution of 2200 x 2480 pixels and a bigger display. Huawei Mate X features just a bit better hardware performance than Xiaomi Redmi Note 9, and although they both have a Octa-Core processing unit, the Huawei Mate X also has 5 GB more RAM.
Huawei Mate X has a very superior storage capacity for applications and games than Xiaomi Redmi Note 9, because although it has no external SD slot, it also counts with 512 GB internal storage capacity. Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 counts with just a little better battery duration than Huawei Mate X, because it has a 12% greater battery size.
Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 captures much better videos and photos than Huawei Mate X, because although it has a smaller back-facing camera sensor taking less light and washed colors, and they both have a same size aperture, the Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 also counts with a higher 48 mega-pixels resolution back-facing camera.
Although Huawei Mate X is a better device, it is way more expensive than the Xiaomi Redmi Note 9, and it doesn't have such a good quality/price relation as the Xiaomi Redmi Note 9. If you are trying to save a few dollars, you can buy Xiaomi Redmi Note 9, giving up a few specs and features, but you'll get the most out of your savings.
