Comparison review
Samsung Galaxy A20s is just a bit better than the Xiaomi Redmi Note 9, getting a 77 score against 76.6. The Samsung Galaxy A20s design is a bit lighter and thinner than the Xiaomi Redmi Note 9, even though they were only released with a couple of months difference. Both devices we are comparing here work with Android operating system, but Samsung Galaxy A20s has a newer 11 version and Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 has Android 10, giving some extra features and some performance improvements.
The Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 counts with just a bit better processing power than Galaxy A20s, although it has a lower amount of RAM memory, they both have a Octa-Core processor. The Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 features a more vivid display than Galaxy A20s, and although they both have a display with the same size, the Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 also has a greater amount of pixels per screen inch and a way higher resolution of 1080 x 2340px.
The Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 captures much clearer photographs and videos than Galaxy A20s, and although they both have a F1.8 aperture, the same video frame rates and the same (Full HD) video definition, the Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 also has a back facing camera with a way higher 48 megapixels resolution and a way bigger back-facing camera sensor shooting much higher quality pictures.
The Samsung Galaxy A20s has a bigger memory capacity to install applications and games than Xiaomi Redmi Note 9, and although they both have equal 64 GB internal storage, the Samsung Galaxy A20s also has an external SD slot that supports a maximum of 512 GB. Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 has longer battery life than Samsung Galaxy A20s, because it has a 26% larger battery capacity.
