Comparison review
The Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 is a little bit better than Galaxy A21, with a general score of 76.6 against 76.1. Even being the best in this comparison, the Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 design is just a little heavier and just a little thicker than the Galaxy A21. Both devices in this review use the same Android 10 OS, so you shouldn't notice any difference in that aspect.
The Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 counts with a bit sharper screen than Galaxy A21, and although they both have a same size screen, the Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 also has a higher pixel density and a much better resolution of 1080 x 2340. The Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 features just a bit bigger storage for applications and games than Samsung Galaxy A21, because although it has a slot for an SD memory card that holds 384 GB smaller, it also counts with 32 GB more internal memory capacity.
Samsung Galaxy A21 has a bit better CPU than Xiaomi Redmi Note 9. Both have a 3 GB RAM memory and the same number of cores. Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 has superior battery performance than Galaxy A21, because it has a 26 percent more battery size. Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 features a superior camera than Galaxy A21, and although they both have a same size aperture, the same 30 frames per second video frame rates and the same (Full HD) video resolution, the Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 also has a much larger back-facing camera sensor taking way higher quality photos and videos and a camera in the back with lot more mega-pixels.
Although Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 is a better device, it costs a lot more than Galaxy A21, and it doesn't have such a good price and quality relation as Galaxy A21. If you are trying to save some dollars, you can buy Galaxy A21, giving up a few specs and features, but you'll get the most with your money.
