Comparison review
The Galaxy Z Fold 2 has a global score of 94.6, which is way better than Xiaomi Redmi Note 9's 76.6 general score. The Galaxy Z Fold 2 design is much heavier but a lot thinner than the Xiaomi Redmi Note 9, and both of them were released only a couple months apart. These devices include Android OS, but the Galaxy Z Fold 2 has a more recent 11 version and Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 has Android 10 version, providing the user a couple additional features.
The Galaxy Z Fold 2 has a little sharper display than Xiaomi Redmi Note 9, because although it has a little bit lower pixels density, it also counts with a higher 1768 x 2208 pixels resolution and a larger display. Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 2 features a much greater memory capacity for games and applications than Xiaomi Redmi Note 9, because although it has no slot for an SD memory card, it also counts with 256 GB internal memory.
The Galaxy Z Fold 2 counts with a bit faster CPU than Xiaomi Redmi Note 9, and although they both have 8 CPU cores, the Galaxy Z Fold 2 also has a higher amount of RAM. The Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 features a little better battery lifetime than Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 2, because it has a 12 percent bigger battery size.
Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 has just a bit better camera than Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 2, because although it has a tinier back-facing camera sensor offering a worse image quality and slower video frame rate, and they both have the same camera aperture and the same 1920x1080 (Full HD) video definition, the Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 also counts with a back camera with a much higher 48 mega-pixels resolution.
Although Galaxy Z Fold 2 is a better device, it is way more expensive than the Xiaomi Redmi Note 9, and it doesn't have such a good relation between it's price and quality as Xiaomi Redmi Note 9. If you are trying to save a few dollars, you can get Xiaomi Redmi Note 9, giving up a couple features, but you will get the most out of your money.
