Comparison review
Xiaomi Mi 5s Plus is just a bit better than Xiaomi Redmi Note 9, with a overall score of 78.1 against 76.6. Both of these devices come with Android operating system, but the Xiaomi Mi 5s Plus has a newer 6.0 Marshmallow version while Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 has Android 10 version. Despite of the fact that Xiaomi Mi 5s Plus is incredibly older than Xiaomi Redmi Note 9, it's body is somewhat lighter and thinner.
Xiaomi Mi 5s Plus has a little sharper display than Xiaomi Redmi Note 9, although it has a quite smaller screen, a quite lower 1080 x 1920 resolution and a just a bit lower amount of pixels per screen inch. The Xiaomi Mi 5s Plus has a little bit more storage capacity for applications, games, photos and videos than Xiaomi Redmi Note 9, because although it has no slot for an SD memory card, it also counts with 128 GB internal storage capacity.
The Xiaomi Mi 5s Plus's processor is just as good as the Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 one, because although the Xiaomi Mi 5s Plus has 4 lesser cores , it also counts with 3 GB more RAM. The Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 has longer battery duration than Xiaomi Mi 5s Plus, because it has a 5020mAh battery capacity instead of 3800mAh.
Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 features a much better camera than Xiaomi Mi 5s Plus, and although they both have the same 30 frames per second video frame rates and the same (Full HD) video resolution, the Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 also has a camera in the back with way more MP, a much bigger sensor capturing more light and vivid colors and a larger aperture.
