Comparison review
Asus ROG Phone 8 has a general score of 79.5, which is better than the Xiaomi Redmi Y1's 72.1 score. Both phones we are comparing work with Android OS (Operating System), but Asus ROG Phone 8 has the older 14 version and Xiaomi Redmi Y1 has Android 7.0 Nougat. The Asus ROG Phone 8 body is newer, but somewhat thicker and noticeably heavier than the Xiaomi Redmi Y1.
Xiaomi Redmi Y1 has a much faster CPU than Asus ROG Phone 8, although it has 8 GB lesser RAM memory, they both have the same number of cores.
