ZTE Axon 30 Ultra has a score of 78.1, which is just a bit better than Moto Z2 Play's overall score of 77.4. Even though the ZTE Axon 30 Ultra is notably newer than Moto Z2 Play, it is noticeably heavier and extremely thicker. ZTE Axon 30 Ultra counts with a bit faster processing unit than Moto Z2 Play, and although they both have the same number of cores, the ZTE Axon 30 Ultra also has a higher amount of RAM.
ZTE Axon 30 Ultra has a little sharper display than Moto Z2 Play, because although it has a little bit worse count of pixels per inch in the screen, it also counts with a slightly better 1080 x 2400 resolution and a larger screen. The ZTE Axon 30 Ultra takes much clearer pictures and videos than Moto Z2 Play, because it has a larger aperture for better photography and videos in poorly lited environments, a lot higher 7680x4320 video definition and a back facing camera with much more mega-pixels.
The Motorola Moto Z2 Play has much more storage for games and applications than ZTE Axon 30 Ultra, because although it has less internal storage capacity, it also counts with a slot for an SD memory card that allows up to 1,95 TB. ZTE Axon 30 Ultra features a superior battery performance than Moto Z2 Play, because it has 4600mAh of battery capacity.
Although ZTE Axon 30 Ultra is a better device, it costs a lot more than the Motorola Moto Z2 Play, and it doesn't have such a good quality/price relation as the Motorola Moto Z2 Play. If you want to save some money, you can buy the Motorola Moto Z2 Play, giving up some specs and features, but you will get the most out of your money.
