Comparison review
The HTC Hero S is better than ZTE Solar, having a 55.8 score against 48.2. These phones have Android operating system, but HTC Hero S has older 2.3 version and ZTE Solar has Android 4.1 version. HTC Hero S is a lighter but somewhat thicker device than the ZTE Solar. ZTE Solar counts with a little faster CPU than HTC Hero S, and although they both have the same RAM memory amount, the ZTE Solar also has a graphics processor and a larger number of cores.
HTC Hero S counts with a bit sharper display than ZTE Solar, because although it has a little bit smaller display, it also counts with a greater pixel density and a quite better resolution of 960 x 540 pixels. The HTC Hero S shoots much clearer photos and videos than ZTE Solar. Both have a same resolution camera.
The HTC Hero S's memory for applications and games is very similar to the ZTE Solar one, both of them have a slot for an SD memory card that supports a maximum of 32 GB and equal internal memory. ZTE Solar features a much longer battery life than HTC Hero S, because it has a 2070mAh battery size.
HTC Hero S costs a bit more than ZTE Solar, but it's still a great choice, because you can get a lot more features for that extra money.
