BLU Amour Review

BLU Amour is a decent quality phone, packed with a good performance Dual-Core processing unit ticking at 1000 MHz, a 4" capacitive display, and two cameras, a 5 megapixels back side camera and a 0.3 mega-pixels front facing camera.

BLU sells this phone with a fast Dual-Core CPU speeding at 1000 MHz, bundled in a Mediatek MT6577 system chip and 512 MB RAM memory. To help with graphic intensive apps and games, this cellphone also has a PowerVR SGX531 graphic processing unit clocking at 200 megahertz. This phone has a 4 GB internal memory, a fair quantity that should be knowing that it also has a slot for external memory cards to store photos and videos.

This phone is quite slim and looks really nice, although it's not so thin as many other phones out there, with a thickness of 0.46 inches. The BLU Amour isn't very light comparing to other cellphones , with a weight of 4.83 ounces. This phone is available just in white color.

BLU packed this cellphone with a good looking 4-inches display, and a 800 x 480 resolution, making everything look great. Its display uses TFT capacitive technology, and is multi-touch enabled.

This cellphone has two cameras, a 5 MP back side camera and a 0.3 megapixels front-facing camera. It also films VGA 640x480 videos at 30 frames per second. In addition, the camera counts with a couple of useful features like digital image stabilization, flash, geo tagging and face detection shooting.

The BLU Amour has a mid sized 1600 mAh Li-Ion removable battery that provides the BLU Amour a quite short battery lifecompared to other phones. According to BLU, the BLU Amour has an estimated 18 hs talk time and a 600 hs stand by time.

The BLU Amour includes wi-fi capability (which it can provide to other devices around, acting as a wireless modem) and 3G fast connection type, supported by HSDPA, HSUPA, UMTS and EDGE technologies. This phone supports dual sim cards to be able to to use two different carriers or phone lines in the same phone.

This cellphone also includes a handful of interesting features such as Bluetooth (3.0) and GPS (Global Positioning System), and plenty of sensors like Light Sensor, Proximity Sensor, Accelerometer and Compass.

The BLU Amour is not very cheap considering it is priced 125 dollars, and some similar phones are sold for much less than that.
