BLU Life One XL Review

BLU Life One XL is a good phone, featuring an extremely fast 64-bit Quad-Core CPU clocking at 1200 MHz, a huge 5.5" multi-touch screen, and two cameras, a 13 MP back-facing camera and a 5 MP front side camera. That's all? No, it's just the tip of the iceberg.

This cellphone is only 6.14" long, but it manages to hold a 5.5" display. Being just 0.33 inches thick,this phone is extremely slim and practical. This phone is sold in a variety of colors: black, pink, blue, white and gold. BLU did an amazing design job making this device as lightweight as 5.33 oz.

This cellphone comes with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 410 chip, holding a high speed Quad-Core CPU ticking at 1200 megahertz with only 1 GB RAM memory which is a bit disappointing for such a solid device. Collaborating with graphic calculations, this cellphone also uses a 450 megahertz Adreno 306 graphic processing unit. A good advantage of the BLU Life One XL is its big 8 GB internal memory and an SD memory slot, enough to store a couple hundred apps and games without any problem.

BLU designed the BLU Life One XL with a interesting 5.5-inches screen, and a 1280 x 720 (HD) resolution, giving this phone a very nice graphical experience. Its screen uses IPS LCD capacitive technology, and is multi-touch enabled.

This cellphone offers wi-fi connectivity (which can be shared with other devices acting as a mobile hotspot). The BLU Life One XL doesn't use a SIM card, because it's not a GSM enabled phone.

This cellphone features two cameras, a 13 mega-pixels back side camera and a 5 megapixels front side camera. The BLU Life One XL also captures 1920x1080 Full HD videos at 30 frames per second. In addition, the camera features a couple of nice characteristics like flash, auto-focus, smile detection shooting, face detection shooting and geo tagging.

This device uses a 2820 mAh huge Li-Ion removable battery that can keep it running for several hours without having to charge it at all. This phone has an aproximate stand by time of 710 hours and a talk time of 28 hs.

This phone also features a couple interesting characteristics as Bluetooth (provides communication with other cellphones, computers and accessories) and GPS Navigation, and lots of sensors like Light Sensor, Proximity Sensor, Accelerometer and Compass.

BLU is selling this cellphone for $ 165, which is a high price for this type of cellphone. The BLU Life One XL is the right choice for you if you will use it mainly for internet broswing and social networks.
