Celkon Millennia OCTA510 Review

Score: 52.6 / 100

Celkon Millennia OCTA510 is a decent quality Android cellphone, packed with a pretty large 5 inches multi touch display, a very fast 1.4 gigahertz Octa-Core CPU, and 2 cameras, an 8 megapixels back side camera and a 3.2 MP front-facing camera.

The Celkon Millennia OCTA510 feels much lighter than what you expect from a phone of this size. This cellphone is sold in two colors, black and white. This cellphone is just 0.36 inches thick, making its way into the thinnest devices podium. The Celkon Millennia OCTA510 is a compact cellphone, taking into consideration it has a 5" screen and it's just 5.65 inches long and 2.8" wide.

Celkon decided to power this cellphone with a very fast 1.4 GHz Octa-Core processing unit, packed into a MediaTek MT6592M chip with only 1 GB of RAM which is a bit poor for such a solid cellphone. Helping with graphic intensive apps, the Celkon Millennia OCTA510 also has an ARM Mali-400 GPU running at 500 MHz. A nice point of this device is its quite large 8 GB internal storage memory and a slot for an SD memory card, enough to install hundreds of games and apps without running out of space.

This phone has two cameras, an 8 mega-pixels back side camera and a 3.2 MP front side camera. It is capable of filming videos up to 1280x720 (HD). Additionally, this phone's camera also includes geo tagging and flash.

Celkon packed the Celkon Millennia OCTA510 with a nice 5-inches screen, and a resolution of 1280 x 720 (HD), which makes everything look beautiful. Its screen uses IPS LCD capacitive technology, and can detect multi touch gestures.

This cellphone comes with a 2000 mAh medium sized Li-Ion removable battery, which is quite low for a consuming cellphone like this.

This cellphone offers wi-fi connectivity (and it can share it with other devices around, as a mobile hotspot), 4G HSPA+ internet connection, which is not as fast as LTE-A or LTE 4G networks and fast 3G connectivity, over HSDPA, HSUPA, UMTS and EDGE technologies. The Celkon Millennia OCTA510 has 2 SIM cards so it can to work with 2 different phone numbers and even different carriers at the same time.

This phone also features a couple of useful features such as Bluetooth (4.0), GPS Geolocation and Radio, and plenty of sensors like Light Sensor, Proximity Sensor, Accelerometer and Compass.

This phone is very overpriced considering it is sold for 249 dollars, and some similar phones are offerred way cheaper than that.
