HTC Aria is a decent quality Android cellphone launched many years ago, having a powerful 600 MHz processor, a 3.2-inches multi-touch display and a 5 mega-pixels back side camera.
HTC decided to sell this phone with a Qualcomm Snapdragon S1 MSM7227 system chip, including a good processing unit speeding at 600 megahertz and only 256 MB of RAM memory. Graphic rendering usually consume lots of CPU cycles, so it also counts with a 128 megahertz Adreno 200 GPU to take care of them, leaving the processor free for other tasks.
This phone's thickness (0.46") is quite far from nowadays standards, but it still feels right in the hand. HTC didn't seem to put much effort to reduce weight in this 3.8 oz device.
HTC designed this phone with a nice 3.2-inches screen, and a 480 x 320 resolution, providing this cellphone with a nice image quality. Its screen uses TFT capacitive technology, and can detect multi touch gestures.
This cellphone offers wifi connection (although it can't be provided to other devices as a mobile hotspot) and fast 3G connectivity, using HSDPA, UMTS and EDGE technologies. The HTC Aria uses a SIM card for GSM networks.
This cellphone is only equipped with a 5 mega-pixels back side camera. This cellphone also counts with auto-focus.
This phone also comes with a few nice features like Bluetooth (enables communication with other bluetooth phones and accessories), GPS Geolocation and FM Radio, and multiple sensors like Light Sensor, Proximity Sensor, Accelerometer and Compass.
The HTC Aria packs a 1200 mAh small Li-Ion removable battery that can keep it running for many hours, but you may need to charge it even after moderate use. HTC afirms this phone has a 6 hs talk time and a 372 hs stand by time.
HTC offers the HTC Aria for 199 dollars, which is not cheap for comparing with other similar cellphones.
