Yota YotaPhone 2 Review

Yota YotaPhone 2 is a mid level phone released back in the year 2014, which features a good Quad-Core CPU speeding at megahertz, a quite big 5-inches multi touch display, an 8 MP back-facing camera and a 2 megapixels front camera.

This cellphone is much lighter than what one would expect from a device this size. This phone has a beautiful design, with a thickness of just 0.35". The Yota YotaPhone 2 is a compact phone, taking into account that it features a 5" screen and it is only 5.67 inches long and 2.74" wide. Yota is offering the Yota YotaPhone 2 in two colors, black and white.

The Yota YotaPhone 2 is equipped with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 8974 chip, which holds a powerful megahertz Quad-Core CPU with a great 2 GB RAM. A good point of this phone is its large 32 GB internal memory and while it doesn't include an SD card slot, it is still enough to install hundreds of apps and even the largest games available nowadays without even thinking about filling the phone.

This phone has two cameras, an 8 megapixels back camera and a 2 mega-pixels front side camera. It can also shoot Full HD 1920x1080 videos at 30 fps. To complete the camera, it also counts with auto-focus and flash.

Yota designed the Yota YotaPhone 2 with an amazing 5" display, and a resolution of 1080 x 1920 (Full HD), giving this cellphone a perfect graphical experience. Its display uses AMOLED capacitive technology, and can detect multi touch gestures.

This phone provides WiFi capability (although it can't be shared with other devices acting as a router or modem), LTE (4G) fast connection type and the fastest 3G data connection, using HSPA, HSUPA, UMTS and EDGE technologies. The Yota YotaPhone 2 works with a Nano SIM card for GSM carriers.

The Yota YotaPhone 2 also comes with lots of cool features as Wireless charger compatibility, NFC (to trigger actions, transfer data or make payments by holding your phone close to another NFC device or tag), Bluetooth (allows communication with other cellphones and accessories) and GPS Geolocation, and multiple sensors like Light Sensor, Proximity Sensor, Accelerometer, Gyroscope and Compass.

This cellphone has a high capacity 2550 mAh non-replaceable battery providing the Yota YotaPhone 2 a great battery life. An issue to take into account is that this device's battery is not replaceable so you won't be able to replace it when it begins to get older, although having 2550 mAh you will probably replace this device before it becomes a real problem.

Yota is selling this phone for $ 185, which is not cheap for a cellphone this level. This phone is a great choice for you if you want it majorly for social networks and internet browsing.
