HTC Sensation XL Review

HTC Sensation XL is a good quality Android phone released many years ago, having a 4.7 inches multi touch screen, a 1500 MHz CPU, and 2 cameras, an 8 megapixels back facing camera and a 1.3 MP front side camera. Let's take a closer look at what this phone has to offer.

HTC decided to sell this device with a Qualcomm Snapdragon S2 MSM8255 system chip, including a good performance processor speeding at 1.5 gigahertz with 768 MB RAM memory. A good point of this cellphone is its big 16 GB internal storage memory and though it doesn't have an external memory card slot, it should be enough to install a couple hundred apps and games, but it may not be enough if you are planning to install some of the largest games currently available or taking tons of photos and videos.

This cellphone has a beautiful design, with a thickness of just 0.39". Although this phone is just 5.2 inches long, it manages to contain a 4.7" screen. HTC didn't seem to put much effort to reduce weight in this 5.73 ounces phone.

This phone has a good 4.7 inches screen with a 800 x 480 resolution, which makes everything look nice. This screen uses S-LCD capacitive technology, and allows multi-touch for gestures like pinch and zoom.

The HTC Sensation XL features two cameras, an 8 MP back side camera and a 1.3 mega-pixels front camera. This cellphone also shoots HD 1280x720 videos. This phone also counts with flash and auto-focus.

This phone offers WiFi connection (but it can't be shared with other devices around, acting as a wireless modem) and fast 3G connection type, using HSDPA, HSUPA, UMTS and EDGE technologies. This cellphone works with a SIM card for GSM services.

This phone also features a couple of interesting characteristics as Bluetooth (for communication with other devices, computers, and accessories), GPS Localization and FM Radio, and lots of sensors like Light Sensor, Proximity Sensor, Accelerometer, Gyroscope and Compass.

The HTC Sensation XL features a medium sized 1600 mAh Li-Ion removable battery that provides this phone a not very long battery life. HTC informs a talk time of 11.8 hours and a stand by time of 360 hs for this cellphone.

This phone costs 349 dollars, high for this type of phone. No matter if you want it for playing games or will use it as a social device, you will definitely be very happy with it.
