Huawei Premia 4G Review

Huawei Premia 4G is a quite good Android phone, provisioned with a 4-inches screen, an extremely fast Dual-Core CPU running at 1500 MHz, and 2 cameras, a 5 MP back-facing camera and a 1.3 mega-pixels front-facing camera.

This phone is powered by a very powerful 1500 MHz Dual-Core processor, packed into the Qualcomm Snapdragon S4 MSM8960 system chip and only 1 GB of RAM which is a bit disappointing for such a good cellphone. Graphic calculations usually consume a lot of processing power, so it uses an additional Adreno 225 GPU running at 400 MHz to unload the processor. This cellphone counts with areasonable 2 GB internal memory, which is quite good considering it also has a slot for an external memory card to store songs, photos and videos and even some games and apps that can be installed in the external memory.

Huawei didn't seem to put much effort to reduce weight in this 4.94 ounces phone. The Huawei Premia 4G is for sale in black color.

Huawei equipped the Huawei Premia 4G with a very good 4 inches screen, and a resolution of 800 x 480 , which makes all pictures and movies look very good. This screen uses TFT capacitive technology, and can detect multi touch gestures.

This phone offers wifi connection (and it can provide it to other devices around, acting as a mobile hotspot) and LTE 4G high speed connection type. The Huawei Premia 4G doesn't use a SIM card, because it doesn't support GSM connections and it works in CDMA carriers.

This device is equipped with two cameras, a 5 mega-pixels back side camera and a 1.3 megapixels front side camera. It also shoots videos in 1280x720 (HD). To complete the camera, it also has a couple of useful features: face detection shooting, flash and geo tagging.

The Huawei Premia 4G comes with a 1650 mAh medium sized Li-Ion battery providing the Huawei Premia 4G with a poor battery life. Huawei reports a talk time of 4 hours and a stand by time of 160 hours for this cellphone.

This cellphone also comes with some interesting features such as Bluetooth (3.0) and GPS Localization, and multiple sensors like Light Sensor, Proximity Sensor, Accelerometer and Compass.

This phone is very expensive considering it is offerred for $ 249, while some similar cellphones are sold for much less than that.
