Nokia Lumia 928 Review

Nokia Lumia 928 is an amazing Windows Phone 8 cellphone released in May 2013, with a high speed Dual-Core processor ticking at 1500 megahertz, a medium 4.5-inches capacitive touch-screen, an 8.7 MP back camera and a 1.2 MP front camera.

It appears that Nokia decided not to care much about the weight in this 5.7 oz cellphone. Regarding its materials quality, this device is majorly made of Polycarbonate. This device is very thin and practical, but it's not so slim as many other cellphones on sale, with a thickness of 0.4 inches. This cellphone is available in two different colors, black and white.

Nokia designed this phone with an astonishing 4.5 inches display, and a 1280 x 768 resolution, which makes everything look vivid and colorful. This display uses AMOLED capacitive technology, and can detect multiple fingers at the same time.

Nokia sells the Lumia 928 with a high speed Dual-Core CPU ticking at 1.5 gigahertz, included in a Qualcomm Snapdragon S4 Plus MSM8960 system chip and only 1 GB of RAM which is a bit low for a device of this level. Graphic calculations usually consume lots of CPU processing time, so it also has a 400 MHz Adreno 225 GPU to help the processor with those tasks. This cellphone comes with a impressive 32 GB internal storage and even though it doesn't come with an SD memory slot, it it is more than enough to store hundreds of applications without thinking about how much storage capacity is left.

This phone features two cameras, an 8.7 megapixels back-facing camera and a 1.2 MP front side camera. Its back-facing camera lens has a maximum 2 aperture so it can shoot beautiful photographs even in low light conditions. It is capable of filming videos in Full HD 1920x1080 at 30 frames per second. Additionally, the camera counts with a couple of good features like flash, optical image stabilization, auto-focus, geo tagging and face detection shooting.

This phone has a 2000 mAh mid capacity Li-Polymer removable battery, which is not really enough for a thirsty device like this. This cellphone has a reported 606 hs stand by time and a 11.8 hs talk time according to Nokia.

The Nokia Lumia 928 provides Wi-Fi capability (but it can't be shared with other devices around, acting as a modem), 4G LTE fast connection and also HSPA+ connectivity, that is a slower 4G variation and 3G fast data connection, using HSDPA, HSUPA, UMTS, EV-DO A and EDGE technologies.
