LG Spectrum 2 Review

LG Spectrum 2 is an amazing phone, coming with a great Dual-Core CPU speeding at 1500 MHz, a medium sized 4.7 inches capacitive screen, and 2 cameras, an 8 MP back side camera and a 1.3 megapixels front facing camera.

LG appears to have forgotten about weight optimization in this 5.22 ounces cellphone. This cellphone is just 0.36" thick, taking it to the thinnest device's category. This cellphone is quite a compact cellphone, taking into account that it packs a 4.7 inches display and it's just 5.31 inches long and 2.69" wide.

LG decided to power this cellphone with a high performance Dual-Core processing unit clocking at 1.5 gigahertz, bundled in a Qualcomm Snapdragon S4 Plus MSM8960 chip with only 1 GB RAM memory which is a little low for a phone of this quality. Graphic calculations often consume a lot of processor cycles, so it has an extra Adreno 225 graphics processing unit running at 400 megahertz to improve overall performance. A nice advantage of this phone is its quite large 16 GB internal memory and an SD extension slot, enough to store hundreds of games and apps without any problem.

This phone is equipped with two cameras, an 8 MP back side camera and a 1.3 MP front side camera. It is also able to capture videos in 1920x1080 (Full HD). This camera also includes some good characteristics like auto-focus, flash, HDR mode and fast burst mode.

LG equipped this phone with an awesome 4.7" screen, and a 1280 x 720 (HD) resolution, making everything look beautiful and brightful. This screen uses IPS LCD capacitive technology, and allows multi-touch for gestures like pinch and zoom.

This phone offers WiFi capability (which can be provided to other devices acting as a mobile hotspot), 4G LTE fast connection type and the fastest 3G connectivity, over HSPA, UMTS and EDGE technologies. The LG Spectrum 2 works with a SIM card to connect to GSM networks and it can work with both GSM and CDMA carriers.

The LG Spectrum 2 uses a 2150 mAh large Li-Ion battery that can keep this phone running for many hours, but you may need to charge it if you use it heavily. LG informs a 473 hs stand by time and a 10.4 hours talk time for this cellphone.

This device also comes with plenty of useful features as Wireless charger compatibility, NFC (Near Field Communication), Bluetooth (4.0) and GPS Geolocation, and lots of sensors like Light Sensor, Proximity Sensor, Accelerometer and Compass.

This phone is being sold for around $ 349, which is not a really offer for a cellphone this level.
