Micromax Canvas Power is a decent Android cellphone, featuring a 5 MP back camera, an exceptional 1.3 gigahertz Quad-Core processing unit and a quite big 5" multi-touch display.
This phone is powered by a MediaTek MTK6582 chip, backed up by a great 1.3 gigahertz Quad-Core processing unit and only 512 MB of RAM memory which is a bit low for a phone of this quality. To collaborate with graphic calculations, the Micromax Canvas Power also uses a 500 MHz ARM Mali-400 graphics processing unit. The Micromax Canvas Power has a 1,14 GB internal memory, a mediocre amount that might be enough for some basic users having that it also has a slot for an SD memory card to store pictures and videos and even some applications that allow external memory installation.
Though this phone is only 0 inches long, it manages to contain a 5" screen.
This cellphone is equipped with a nice 5 inches screen with a 854 x 480 resolution, making everything look quite vivid. This screen uses TFT capacitive technology, and can detect multiple fingers at the same time.
This device is only equipped with a 5 megapixels back camera. It is also able to shoot videos up to 1280x720 (HD). To complete the camera, it also has flash.
The Micromax Canvas Power packs a 4000 mAh high capacity replaceable battery, enough to provide the Micromax Canvas Power with an amazing battery duration. Micromax says this phone has a talk time of 13.5 hs and a stand by time of 450 hs.
The Micromax Canvas Power provides wifi capability (but it can't provide it to other devices acting as a wireless modem) and 3G fast internet connection, supported by HSPA, UMTS and EDGE technologies. The Micromax Canvas Power uses a SIM card to connect to GSM networks.
This cellphone also features a couple of interesting characteristics like Bluetooth (enables communication with other phones and accessories), GPS Navigation and Radio, and multiple sensors like Light Sensor, Proximity Sensor, Accelerometer and Compass.
This phone is being sold for $ 155, not cheap for comparing with similar phones.
