Motorola Devour Review

Motorola Devour is a low end phone, packing a 3 megapixels back camera, a 3.1-inches capacitive screen and a quite powerful MHz processor. But let's get into a bit more details.

While this cellphone is as big as 4.55 inches long and 2.4" wide, it only comes with a smaller 3.1" screen. This phone is a little thick compared to nowadays phones, with a thickness of 0.61 inches. Motorola forgot about weight optimization in this 6.35 ounces phone, far heavier than other similar phones.

Motorola decided to power this device with a Qualcomm Snapdragon S1 MSM7627 chip, packing a powerful MHz processor. Helping with graphic calculations, it also has a 128 MHz Adreno 200 graphics processing unit.

This cellphone has a good level 480 x 320 3.1" screen, which makes everything look quite colorful and brightful. This screen uses TFT capacitive technology, but it can't detect multi touch gestures.

This cellphone is only equipped with a 3 mega-pixels back-facing camera. This cellphone can also shoot VGA 640x480 videos at 23 fps. This camera also features geo tagging.

The Motorola Devour has WiFi connection (but it can't provide it to other devices acting as a router or modem) and 3G internet connection, over EV-DO A technologies. This phone doesn't have a sim card, because it is not a GSM enabled phone and it can connect to CDMA networks.

This device also comes with some useful characteristics as Bluetooth (provides communication with other bluetooth devices, computers and accessories) and GPS Localization, and Accelerometer.

The Motorola Devour counts with a medium 1400 mAh Li-Ion removable battery providing the Motorola Devour with a quite short battery duration. This cellphone has an aproximate stand by time of 443 hours and a talk time of 6.5 hours.

The Motorola Devour is not cheap at all considering it is sold for $ 75, and some similar phones cost much less than that.
