Motorola Moto G LTE Review

Motorola Moto G LTE is a fascinating Android phone released some years ago, in 2014, packed with an exceptional 1.2 GHz Quad-Core processing unit, a 4.5-inches multi-touch screen, and 2 cameras, a 5 megapixels back side camera and a 1.3 MP front-facing camera.

Motorola equipped this cellphone with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 400 system chip, packing a high performance 1.2 gigahertz Quad-Core processor with only 1 GB of RAM memory which is a little bit low considering its awesome CPU. Graphic intensive tasks often consume a lot of CPU time, so it has an extra 450 megahertz Adreno 305 graphic processing unit to help handle those graphic tasks. A good point of the Motorola Moto G LTE is the 8 GB quite large internal storage memory and an external SD slot, allowing you to install a couple hundred games and apps without any problem.

This phone's thickness , 0.46", is quite far from nowadays standards, but it still feels in the hand. The only has 5.11" long and 2.59" wide, but it manages to hold a 4.5" screen. Motorola made this phone in a nice range of colors: black, pink, yellow, blue, red and white. Apparently Motorola forgot about weight optimization in this 5.04 ounces cellphone.

This phone is equipped with an awesome 4.5 inches display with a 1280 x 720 (HD) resolution, making everything look brightful and colorful. This display uses IPS LCD capacitive technology, and is multi-touch enabled.

This cellphone provides wifi connectivity (and it can be provided to other devices around, acting as a wireless router or modem), 4G LTE fast data connection and also HSPA+ internet connection, which is a lower speed 4G type and the fastest 3G connection type, supported by HSDPA, HSUPA, UMTS and EDGE technologies. This cellphone works with a Micro SIM card for GSM carriers.

This phone has two cameras, a 5 megapixels back-facing camera and a 1.3 megapixels front camera. It also films 1280x720 HD videos at 30 fps. Additionally, the camera includes some interesting characteristics like flash, auto-focus, fast burst mode, geo tagging and HDR mode.

This cellphone also includes a handful of useful features as Bluetooth (4.0) and GPS (Global Positioning System), and multiple sensors like Light Sensor, Proximity Sensor, Accelerometer and Compass.

This cellphone packs a 2070 mAh amazing Li-Ion non-removable battery, which isn't very promising for a cellphone like this. An issue to consider is that the 's battery is non-replaceable so you can't throw it away and buy a new one when it begins losing capacity, though with such a great capacity you will probably discard this cellphone before that happens.

This cellphone may not be a very good choice considering it costs 170 dollars, and some similar cellphones cost less than that. If you want it for playing games, want a phone for work, want it to take plenty of pictures or are looking for a social device, this device is the right one for you.
