Nokia Lumia 530 is a mid-end Windows Phone 8.1 cellphone released back in the year 2014, provisioned with a 5 megapixels back facing camera, a 1.2 gigahertz Quad-Core processing unit and a 4 inches multi-touch display.
Nokia equipped this cellphone with a very powerful 1200 megahertz Quad-Core processing unit, included in a Qualcomm Snapdragon 200 system chip with only 512 MB RAM memory which is a bit disappointing for a device of this level. Graphic rendering usually consume lots of processing power, so this phone also has an additional Adreno 302 graphic processing unit clocking at 400 megahertz to take care of them, leaving the processor free for other tasks. The Lumia 530 counts with a passable 4 GB internal storage memory, which is adequate for the average user considering this phone also has an SD card slot .
Nokia didn't seem to put much effort to reduce weight in this 4.55 oz phone. This phone is offerred in a wide range of color options like black, orange, green and white. Although this device is slim and comfortable it's not as slim as many other phones currently available, with a thickness of 0.46 inches.
Nokia packed this device with a interesting 4-inches display, and a resolution of 854 x 480 , giving this cellphone a very nice graphic quality. Its display uses LCD capacitive technology, and allows multi-touch for gestures like pinch and zoom.
The Lumia 530 is equipped with only a 5 mega-pixels back side camera. Additionally, the camera has face detection shooting and geo tagging.
This phone has Wi-Fi capability (and it can provide it to other devices around, acting as a wireless modem or router), 4G (HSPA+) data connection, that is not so fast as LTE-A or LTE networks and the fastest 3G internet connection, using HSDPA, HSUPA and EDGE technologies. The Nokia Lumia 530 has 2 Micro SIM cards so it's able to work with two different phone numbers and even different carriers in the same cellphone.
This cellphone also includes some cool features as Bluetooth (4.0), GPS Navigation and Radio, and some sensors likeProximity Sensor and Accelerometer.
This phone has a mid capacity 1430 mAh Li-Ion battery, which is quite poor for a phone like this. According to Nokia, this cellphone has a reported 13.4 hs talk time and a 528 hours stand by time.
This cellphone is being sold for around 275 dollars, not cheap for a phone this level. If you need a cellphone mainly for internet broswing and social networks, you will definitely be very satisfied with this phone.
