Plum Trigger Plus Review

Plum Trigger Plus is a mid-to-low level cellphone, with a medium sized 3.5 inches capacitive display, a Dual-Core processing unit running at 1.2 GHz, a 5 mega-pixels back facing camera and a 1.3 mega-pixels front camera.

Plum decided to power this phone using a great performance 1200 megahertz Dual-Core processing unit, included in a MediaTek MT6572 system chip and just 256 MB RAM memory. Handling graphic calculations, it also has a 500 megahertz ARM Mali-400 GPU. The Plum Trigger Plus counts with an average 2 GB internal storage, which is enough for the vast majority of users knowing that this phone also has a slot for SD memory cards .

The Plum Trigger Plus isn't very light comparing with today standards, with a weight of 4.23 ounces. Plum offers this phone in a lot of colors, black, pink, blue, red and white. While this phone has 4.65" long and 2.46 inches wide, it only holds a way smaller 3.5" display. Although the Plum Trigger Plus is very slim it's not even close to being one of the thinnest devices you can find, with a thickness of 0.45".

This device features two cameras, a 5 MP back camera and a 1.3 megapixels front camera. The Plum Trigger Plus can also shoot videos in 1280x720 (HD) at 30 frames per second. To complete the camera, it also includes a few nice features: auto-focus, flash, smile detection shooting, face detection shooting and geo tagging.

Plum packed this phone with a interesting 3.5" screen, and a 480 x 320 resolution, giving this device a good graphic quality. This screen uses TFT capacitive technology, and can detect multiple fingers at the same time.

This phone provides Wi-Fi connection (and it can be provided to other devices around, acting as a router or modem), 4G (HSPA+) data connection, which is not as fast as LTE or LTE-A 4G networks and the fastest 3G connection type, over HSDPA, HSUPA, UMTS and EDGE technologies. This cellphone comes with two SIM cards so it can to use two different phone numbers and even different carriers in the same phone.

This cellphone also comes with a handful of interesting features such as Bluetooth (enables communication with other bluetooth cellphones, computers and accessories), GPS Navigation and FM Radio, and multiple sensors like Light Sensor, Proximity Sensor, Accelerometer and Compass.

This phone counts with a 1100 mAh small Li-Ion battery that can keep it running for some hours, although you will find yourself looking for a place to charge it after some moderate to heavy usage. This device has an estimated 650 hours stand by time and a 12 hours talk time according to Plum.

This phone is really overpriced considering it costs $ 249, and other similar cellphones are being sold for much less than that.
